Acceptance of Terms
By booking a ride or using the Curbside Rides website (curbsiderides.com), you agree to these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use our services. These terms constitute a binding agreement between you and Curbside Rides Inc., a licensed chauffeur service operating under TCP #45621-A issued by the California Public Utilities Commission (CPUC).
Services
Curbside Rides provides premium chauffeur and black car services throughout Southern California, including:
- Airport transfers (LAX, BUR, VNY, SNA, ONT, LGB, and others)
- Point-to-point rides within the Greater Los Angeles area
- By-the-hour charter services
- Special event transportation
All rides are provided by licensed, insured, and professionally trained chauffeurs in late-model luxury vehicles.
Bookings & Cancellations
Most bookings are confirmed once payment is authorized through our website. Some requests need our approval first, including event and festival rides booked less than 24 hours before pickup and requests made overnight. For these, your card is only authorized, your confirmation page reads “Request received”, and your ride is not confirmed until we accept it. If we cannot accept it, the authorization is released and you are not charged. You will receive a confirmation with your ride details via email and, if you opted in, SMS.
Cancellation Policy:
- Most rides: no charge if you cancel more than 3 hours before pickup
- Hourly service, event rides and long-distance trips (over 75 miles or 2 hours): no charge if you cancel more than 24 hours before pickup
- After that deadline: the full fare is charged
- No-show: full fare charged

Pricing & Payment
Point-to-point rides are quoted at a flat rate. Hourly and full-day service are priced by time. Your fare is quoted upfront when you book and will not change. Extra Wait Time, added stops and other extras you ask for are charged as listed. No surge pricing, no hidden fees, and no metered fares. The rate you see is the rate you pay.
When you book on our website, your card is authorized and charged after your ride. If your ride is more than 7 days away when you book, the authorization is released and we send you an invoice 72 hours before pickup instead. Bookings made by phone are paid by invoice or by a card on file. We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Discover, processed securely through Square.
Wait Time Policy:
Extra Wait Time can be added when you book. After the complimentary wait, additional waiting is charged at $15 per 15 minutes, if your chauffeur is able to stay. Your complimentary wait time is shown on your invoice.
Meeting Your Chauffeur and No-Shows
Please be at the agreed pickup point at your pickup time, keep your phone on, and answer calls and texts from your chauffeur. Your chauffeur will contact you on arrival and may share a meeting point and their location.
A ride is a no-show, and the full fare is charged, if:
- you are not at the pickup point and cannot be reached by the end of your complimentary wait;
- you leave the pickup point without telling us or your chauffeur;
- you cancel after your chauffeur has arrived; or
- you choose another ride after your chauffeur has arrived.
If you and your chauffeur agree on a later pickup time by phone or text, your complimentary wait starts from that new time.
We record call, text and location records for every pickup.
Events, Festivals and Venues
Stadiums, arenas and festivals control their own traffic. Pickups and drop-offs take place at the venue's designated rideshare, pickup or friends and family lots, or at a meeting point your chauffeur shares with you, and may change on the day because of police direction, road closures or crowd control.
Festival and event rides run on scheduled times. Event rides may carry minimum fares and are not eligible for promotional or round trip discounts. A missed event pickup is treated as a no-show and is not refunded.
SMS Communications
SMS consent is optional and is never a condition of booking or service. If you check the optional SMS consent box at checkout, you agree to receive transactional SMS messages from Curbside Rides, including booking confirmations, ride reminders, driver notifications, and cancellation updates. Message frequency varies by ride activity.
Reply STOP to opt out. Reply HELP for help. Message and data rates may apply. Opting out does not affect your ability to book rides. Email updates will continue.

Customer Conduct
Passengers are expected to treat drivers and vehicles with respect. We reserve the right to refuse service or terminate a ride in progress if a passenger:
- Behaves in a threatening, abusive, or disruptive manner
- Damages or soils the vehicle
- Violates any applicable laws during the ride
- Brings prohibited items (open alcohol containers, illegal substances)
A cleaning fee of up to $250 may be charged for excessive mess or damage to the vehicle.
Weather, Safety and Circumstances Beyond Our Control
Your safety comes first. Your chauffeur may delay, reroute or decline to complete a ride because of severe weather, fire, flooding, road or freeway closures, police activity, civil emergencies or other unsafe conditions. In these conditions, longer waits or a change of pickup point may be needed. If we cancel before pickup for these reasons, you receive a full refund. If a ride is already under way, you pay only for the portion completed.
Travel times can change without warning. Please allow extra time for flights, events and appointments. We are not responsible for missed flights, connections, events or appointments caused by traffic, weather, closures, flight changes or any circumstance beyond our control.
Limitation of Liability
Curbside Rides provides transportation services on an “as is” basis. While we strive for punctuality and safety, we are not liable for delays caused by traffic, weather, road closures, flight delays, or other circumstances beyond our control.
Our total liability for any claim arising from our services shall not exceed the fare paid for the ride in question. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
Dispute Resolution
If you have a dispute regarding our services, please contact us first at support@curbsiderides.com or 661-732-0310. We will make a good-faith effort to resolve any issue promptly. If informal resolution is not achieved within 30 days, either party may proceed with arbitration.
Any dispute, controversy, or claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or our services shall be resolved through binding arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association (AAA) in accordance with its Commercial Arbitration Rules. The arbitration shall take place in Los Angeles County, California. Each party shall bear its own costs and attorney's fees unless the arbitrator determines otherwise.
Governing Law
These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any legal action must be brought in the courts of Los Angeles County, California.
