Curbside Rides Inc. is a licensed chauffeur service under TCP #45621-A issued by the California Public Utilities Commission (CPUC). We provide premium ground transportation throughout Southern California, including airport transfers, point-to-point rides, and by-the-hour charter services.
Information We Collect
When you book a ride or interact with our website, we may collect:
- Name, phone number, and email address
- Pickup and dropoff addresses
- Flight information (airline, flight number, terminal)
- Payment card details (processed securely through Square, we never store full card numbers)
- Ride preferences (temperature, music, conversation style)
- Special requests and accessibility needs
- Device and browser information (IP address, browser type, pages visited)
How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Fulfill and manage your ride bookings
- Process payments securely via Square
- Send booking confirmations, ride updates, and receipts
- Monitor flights for delays and adjust driver dispatch
- Improve our services, routes, and customer experience
- Respond to inquiries and support requests
- Comply with legal obligations
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties for marketing purposes.
SMS Communications
SMS consent is optional and is never a condition of booking. If you check the SMS consent box at checkout, you agree to receive transactional SMS messages from Curbside Rides. These messages include:
- Booking confirmations
- Ride reminders (24 hours and 1 hour before pickup)
- Driver assignment notifications
- En-route and arrival notifications
- Cancellation and schedule change updates
Reply STOP to any message to opt out of SMS notifications. Reply HELP for help. Message and data rates may apply.
Opting out of SMS does not affect your ability to book rides. You will continue to receive email updates for your bookings.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
Information Sharing
We share your information only with:
- Your assigned driver: name, phone, pickup/dropoff, and flight details needed to complete your ride
- Square: payment processing (PCI DSS Level 1 certified)
- Google Maps: addresses for route calculation
- Twilio: phone numbers for SMS delivery
- Law enforcement: only when required by law, subpoena, or court order
We do not share your data with advertisers or data brokers.
Data Security
We take reasonable measures to protect your personal information:
- All data in transit is encrypted using TLS (HTTPS)
- Payments are processed by Square, a PCI DSS Level 1 certified processor
- Access to customer data is restricted to authorized personnel
- We regularly review and update our security practices
Booking records are typically retained for 3 years after your last ride. You may request earlier deletion by contacting us.
Your Rights (CCPA)
California residents have the following rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act:
- Access: know what personal information we have collected about you
- Deletion: request deletion of your personal information
- Correction: request correction of inaccurate information
- Opt out of SMS: reply STOP to any message at any time
- Non-discrimination: we will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights

Children's Privacy
Our services are not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. When we make changes, we will revise the “Last Updated” date at the top of this page. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
